It had started all those years ago at Harrenhal where Robert Baratheon was killed in a tilt against Rhaegar Targaryen who's lance struck the Lord in the throat and crushed his windpipe.
Several Years later just after Rhaeanys birth, Her father and the Kings Son Rhaegar brought forward Mace Tyrell, Rickard and Brandon Stark, Stannis Baratheon, Oberyn Martell on behalf of Doran Martell and tried to force the Abdication of the Mad King. The King then ordered the Kingsguard to murder his son and the Lord Paramounts. The Seven Knights became split between Rhaegar and Aerys and fighting perused. Soon Rhaegar stood wounded with Three of the Kingsguard dead at his feet while in the Royal Quarters Jaime Lannister stood with his sword covered in the Dragon Kings Blood dropped to one Knee in front of the Wounded Rhaegar who accepted and pardoned Jaime Lannister both of the murder of his Father and the Kingsguard.
Ten years past in which they called the Peaceful years which peace and prospirety crossed the Kingdom where King Rhaegar ruled and became known as Rhaegar the Great. One more child was born before the Queen Elia Martell died of her long suffering Illness, The King in respect did not take another bride since he had a healthy Son. While Rhaegar became near crippled from the Fight against the Kingsguard his wound does not stop him from ruling.
